Learn Italian – your wallet can handle it and your soul will sing!
I have heard from some of you who say you love the sound of Italian and Italian music and would like to learn the language. One reader said, ”My basic Italian vocabulary consists of ‘Bocelli, Ferrari, Armani and pasta’!”.jpg)
Because of the Internet, private language lessons (previously the privilege of the wealthy few or those reimbursed by their companies) have become extremely affordable. This is particularly exciting to me because I have always felt private lessons are the best way to learn a language. They are customized to your level, speed, interests and ability.
I am often approached by people who want to learn Italian for fun, family, cultural or work reasons. You can now learn to speak the language of Dante, Puccini and, yes, Bocelli in a very relaxed and fun way, at home or on the road.
If you search the internet for private language lessons, you will find a plethora of offers. My personal recommendation is Il Mio Italiano Online which is offering person-to-person private Italian lessons anywhere in the world over the internet. All you need is a cuffia (headset).
You can work with someone who has been teaching Italian for years and is extremely qualified. You will learn perfect pronunciation without any regional accent from a native Italian. The lessons are customized to your level and interest. How perfect is that?
Best of all, you can now have a private lesson for less than it costs to have a couple of glasses of vino in a good restaurant!

Got something to say?

Very nice site. I have been to Tuscany many times to Italy but never for a long stay. With so much interest now, it really is getting my attention.
I think that learning to speak Italian is the one aspect of going anywhere in Italy that will make your trip more memorable than amount of money that you spend for lodging, restaurants, travel. Speaking Italian is the means of learning the people you meet – everyone: waiters, waitresses, locals etc… They will tell you things that you would not have know otherwise.
There are a lot of things you can do with Italian both before and after your trip to Italy in your home country also.
A presto
